Chris Confer has extensive experience in civil litigation matters including personal injury defense, premises liability, railroad litigation, insurance defense, employment litigation, workers’ compensation, insurance coverage litigation, property damage claims, and professional malpractice. Mr. Confer has been very successful in his civil litigation motion practice, having obtained numerous partial and complete summary judgments, and even dismissals of claims, in favor of the firm’s clients.
Mr. Confer has also been responsible for all pre-trial discovery, trial preparation, and as trial counsel in defending claims against our clients, including personal injury, FELA, grade crossing, and Federal Railroad Safety Act (“whistleblower”) litigation. Mr. Confer has successfully represented our clients’ interests in the appellate courts Kansas and Missouri.
Mr. Confer is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law where served as a member and later Staff Articles Editor of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, where upon faculty recommendation, he was admitted into the Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.
